Dinosaur Outpost is thrilled to introduce its newest hands-on attraction: The Incubator – an immersive, sensory-driven experience designed especially for young guests. This engaging exhibit gives children a behind-the-scenes look at where baby dinosaurs begin their journey.
The incubator keeps 4–6 dino eggs warm at a time, mimicking the pre-hatch environment. With a little luck, visitors may even witness a freshly hatched baby dinosaur during their visit.
More than just an exhibit, The Incubator is a fully interactive experience. Children can control the lighting inside, experiment with colorful latches and levers and activate sensory-friendly features like bells and horns to “wake up” the baby dinosaurs. Each element is thoughtfully designed to support fine motor development and encourage screen-free play.
“We wanted an interactive experience that would allow our youngest visitors to connect with the baby dinosaurs and explore tactile and visual objects,” said the Dinosaur Outpost team. “The incubator encourages stimulation of the senses and exploration through sensory play.”
The Incubator is located in The Meadow, near the tug-of-war area featuring Dusty the Protoceratops. It offers a fun and educational stop for families looking to engage their children in hands-on adventure.
Dinosaur Outpost is open daily from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., with last admission at 6 p.m.
